Power outage hits most of Basra amid rising temperatures

Shafaq News/ A widespread power outage struck most areas of Basra province on Monday evening due to a technical failure, a local source said, coinciding with a rise in temperatures across Iraq.
“The power has been out for the past four hours,” the source told Shafaq News Agency.
He explained that several electricity transmission lines went out of service, and engineering teams are working to identify the causes.
