President Barzani joins global dialogue at Tehran Forum
Shafaq News/ Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani took part in the opening session of the Tehran Dialogue Forum on Sunday, joining Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, and high-level officials from 53 countries.
Barzani is expected to deliver a keynote address outlining the Kurdistan Region’s vision for a more stable and cooperative Middle East. According to Iranian state media, his remarks will emphasize shared interests, mutual respect, and the pursuit of lasting peace and economic development.
Held under the theme “Regional Effectiveness in a Changing Global Order,” the two-day forum is hosted by Iran’s Foreign Ministry at its Center for Political and International Studies. The annual gathering has drawn some 200 participants, including foreign ministers, envoys, diplomats, and policy experts.
